Extensometer for Fabric
The methods of test in this standard are applicable to woven and to warp-knitted fabrics. They are particularly applicable to stretch fabrics such as are obtained by the use of elastomeric fibres or bulked yarns. A specimen of standard dimensions is stretched by applying a specified load. The extension is observed and the tension removed. The length of the unstretched specimen is observed after recovery. The Extensometer for Fabric is manufactured with relevance to BS 4952 standard.
