The Box Opening Pressure Tester has been designed to measure the opening force of flat stacked carton boxes. It is used for the Development and Quality Control of cartons during production, therefore speeding up production set up time.

A test is carried through by inserting your sample through the sample angle brackets, and pressing Start.  The test will continue to a predetermined depth until the flat stacked carton board opens, and then return to its starting position.  The maximum force required to open the box is then displayed and held on the digital readout for evaluation.
