Coefficient of Linear Thermal Expansion Tester
The Coefficient of Linear Thermal Expansion tester determines the linear change of a refractory caused by a change in temperature and to ascertain the reversibility of these characteristics. The instrument is manufactured with relevance to ASTM D696 standard. It may also be used to determine the expansion and contraction characteristics of raw materials and refractories that do not exhibit reversible linear changes with increasing temperature.
