PocketSpec Technologies Inc. is the leader in the portable color measuring industry. With the advent of new technology, "PocketSpec" has developed small, hand-held devices that can read colors. These are valuable tools that can be used to read and compare colors more accurately.

The PocketSpec EasyColorQA™ includes a ColorQA™ with USB, 10-foot USB cable, and the Easy-ColorQA software application. The software application is compatible with Windows 2000 and Windows XP.

When connected to the PC via the USB port, the EasyColorQA software application enhances the functionality of the ColorQA. The Colour Calculator converts color data to different colour spaces and standards. Match the measured RGB value to PMS colour cards, paint lines, inks, fan decks, and more.

Simulate colour harmonies and schemes to best compliment the RGB data. Locate a color by entering a specific color code and/or name. PocketSpec’s products are useful in any color sensitive industry where a quick, accurate color measurement or comparison is needed. A typical use for the EasyColorQA within the design industry is to identify a commercially available tint for a product or graphics design.

The ColorQA is powered via the USB port when connected TM to the PC, and is battery powered when disconnected, which provides the ability to use the ColorQA as a quick TM colour comparison device for simple pass/fail applications.
