The Ink Rub Tester is designed to determine the quality of adhesion, and scuff resistance of ink to paper surfaces, printed carton board, printed corrugated board, plastic and aluminium film.

It is equivalent to the Sutherland Style rub tester, and manufactured to TAPPI T830 and ASTM D5264 standards.
