Mooney Viscometer
The Mooney Viscometer when applied to rubber or other elastometric materials, is used as a standard method of determining the viscosity of such materials in the raw or compounded state, and for determining the curing characteristics of vulcanisable compounds. It is applicable to rubber compounds, cork compounds and some plastic compounds as per ASTM D1646 standard.
