Model: S0007

The Shoe Drop Tester Model S0007 is designed to determine the impact resistance of protective toecaps.

A 20 kg mass falls freely on vertical guides onto the protective toecap. The machine is designed so that a mass weighing 20.0 +/- 0.2 kg is allowed to fall freely on vertical guides through various predetermined heights. The machine is constructed so that, after the 20 kg mass and striker have rebounded from the shoe, the mass is caught in a device so that the shoe does not receive a second blow.
