Ultra Stable Volt Meter
Model: USVM The Ultra Stable Volt Meter is a chopper-stabilized (rotating) sensor meter with a remote sensor head at the end of a 100 cm long flexible cable. It measures down to 1/10 volt on a surface, and up to 20 000 volts (20 kV). The Ultra Stable Volt Meter is a non touch voltage meter.
This means a reading can be obtained without touching the surface of the sample being tested. Readings are normally done with the sensor 1" (2.5 cm) from the surface being tested. This meter is unaffected by an ionizing environment (an environment with electric sparks nearby).
It does not require manual resetting; the "Zero Fine Adjust" knob (on the right-side surface) only needs to be set once to offset any existing voltage on a surface, if desired, up to +/- 15 volts. At 1/10 volt resolution, it is the most sensitive electrostatic meter available.
