The Steel Cord Gas Tightness Tester has been specially designed and manufactured with relevance to AS 1333 test standards. 

It is used to determine the cord elastomeric compound penetration and actual condition of the steel-cord coating and penetration with core rubber and the corrosion protection of the steel-cords embedded in a conveyor belt.
